Why are our soaps BETTER? It is all made in small batches from food grade oils, such as olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and grapeseed oil. All of our soaps also contain organic aloe vera gel and some contain other skin-loving ingredients such as Dead Sea clay, exotic butters or even carrot oil! Vegetable based soaps like ours retain all the natural glycerin of the soapmaking process, it will not clog your pores, like most commercial bar soaps , (which contain animal fat) it will not strip your skin of it's natural moisture, like some commercial soaps and liquid soaps (which may contain harsh detergents...even many "glycerin soaps" contain sodium laurel sulfate!) You cannot buy better soap!

Moonlight Magnolia
If you imagine this Moonlight Magnolia soap evokes images of Southern Belles fanning themselves under the 12 oaks trees, you could be right, even though we have several varieties of magnolia gracing our Connecticut yard too. This gentle fragrance is virtually identical to the the fragrance that wafts through our windows here at the Soapery. It's no wonder that this is one of our most beloved and fast-selling soaps!

Lily-of-the-Valley
This soap will evoke fond memories of May. It took us two years of research, trial and error to come up with this true, dead-on Lily-of-the-Valley fragrance, but the results are worth the effort! Since Lily-of-the-Valley has been a favorite flower in my family for at least 4 generations, we couldn't settle for less than perfect.
Lily of the Valley has been the favorite flower of women in our family for at least 4 generations. We searched and experimented for two years before we got this one right…it was well worth the wait and work because the result is a fragrance line that smells exactly like the diminutive bell-shaped blossoms that lined my Grandmother's shady garden paths each May!

SPICY CARNATION SOAP
Inspired by the John Singer Sargent painting, "Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose", sweet picture of some adorable little Victorian girls in a flower garden, each holding a lantern that really seems to glow! This soap is marbled ivory and rose-pink in color. The lanolin , goats milk and aloe makes your skin seem to glow from within, while the delightful, summery scent of carnations transports your imagination to that charming garden!

GRANDMOTHER'S GARDEN SOAP
A light, blended floral fragrance, with chamomile and calendula. A bit like taking a walk in Grandma's Secret Garden on a misty morning.
YLANG YLANG SOAP
The blend of pure essential oils used in this soap is recommended by Aromatherapists to balance hormones and elevate spirits. Maybe that's why this is a favorite soap of many women. Organic chamomile adds texture to this bar.

Campo Dei Fiori Soap:
Italian for "Field of flowers". This bar is rich with real buttermilk, imported Italian olive oil, honey, calendula, lavender buds and Moroccan Red Clay. The color of pale terra cotta-the ambience of a Tuscan summer!
