Why are our soaps BETTER? It is all made in small batches from food grade oils, such as olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and grapeseed oil. All of our soaps also contain organic aloe vera gel and some contain other skin-loving ingredients such as Dead Sea clay, exotic butters or even carrot oil! Vegetable based soaps like ours retain all the natural glycerin of the soapmaking process, it will not clog your pores, like most commercial bar soaps , (which contain animal fat) it will not strip your skin of it's natural moisture, like some commercial soaps and liquid soaps (which may contain harsh detergents...even many "glycerin soaps" contain sodium laurel sulfate!) You cannot buy better soap!

Irish Green Tweed Soap

LAVENDER SOAP
This has been a perennial classic fragrance for bathing since ancient times...and for very good reasons! Pure lavender is calming and relaxing, and so long associated with cleanliness, even its name is derived from the Latin word "To wash"! (lavendare)

This is the complexion soap for those those people with very sensitive skin or fragrance allergies. ( or those who just prefer an unscented, simple formula) The caprylic acid that is found in goatsmilk is soothing and healing.

Brandon's WILD OATS Soap
When my son, Brandon, was ready to move away from home to go to college, the only parting gift he wanted was a whole batch of soap, formulated just for him! He has sensitive skin, so I included a generous amount of oats, he requested only natural scents, and "nothing too girly". I blended his favorite patchouli with other harmonious essential oils, marbled in some warm spices and aloe vera gel, and he was happily on his way. The resulting soap was so awesome, I had to make another batch to share with everyone! Aren't you glad? It's especially popular encased in a loofah slice.

JUSTIN THYME SOAP
Are you looking for a good thyme? This is it! An incredibly fresh, thyme-based herbal soap, with a lovely soft green color and corrugated texture. Rich with exotic hazelnut and macadamia nut oils, skin soothing oats, sea kelp, and of course, thyme! My grandson, Justin, swears he'll never use any other kind of soap!

Connecticut BAYBERRY Soap
Made with real bayberry wax from our own organic garden. A warm, traditional favorite in our part of New England, once associated with the long winters, when lovely bayberry scented candles warmed the spirits and lighted the home

Fresh Evergreens Soap
Fresher than morning air...this soap was inspired by a hike up at the top of New Hampshire's Cannon Mountain one icy afternoon... the scent of Balsam fir in the crisp, cold air. This frosty green bar conatins the anti-stress properties of balsam fir and other evergreen essential oils, plus a hint of peppermint, lavender, arnica montana ( for achy muscles) neem ( for its antibaterial activity) and sea kelp. A good choice for apres ski or after splitting wood for the woodstove
